SAHA Corporate Governance and Credit Rating Services Inc. (SAHA), which has been authorized to perform ratings in accordance with the Capital Markets Board's (CMB) Corporate Governance Principles, completed the Corporate Governance Rating Report for Enerjisa Enerji.
Enerjisa Enerji Corporate Governance Rating was determined as 9.45 out of 10 as a result of the inspection organized under key headings of Shareholders, Public Disclosure and Transparency, Stakeholders and Board of Directors. In his assessment, Murat Pınar, CEO of Enerjisa Enerji, said: "Following the successful public offering in 2018, we focused on creating value for all our stakeholders by ensuring sustainable financial success through efficient operations. One of our major focal points in this process was to increase our level with each passing day by making exemplary practices in the industry in terms of corporate governance principles. In this context, I believe that certification of our corporate governance rating, as a first in the energy industry, is a critical step in this journey. ”
Michael Moser, CFO of Enerjisa Enerji, also commented: "In order to achieve long-term and sustainable success in Turkey, as Enerjisa Enerji, we always closely follow corporate world's macroeconomic innovations, trends and changes and we develop effective management policies. In this context, we are proud to be the first energy company to certify the transparency and sustainability of our management by conducting independent corporate governance rating studies. And for the future, we will continue to work with all our stakeholders to increase this rating."
